Thomas Brennan b. 22 Feb 1814 in Boyle, co Roscommon. Married Winefrida McDermott (1813-1893) on 23 Oct 1837 They had 5 children born in Boyle and one in Lowell Massachusetts after emigrating to Boston area in 1850. Children: Maria 1838?; Thomas 1840-1922; Ellenora 1842-1922; Michaelain 1845?; Winefrida Anna 1847? all in Boyle and James 4 Dec 1854 Lowell MA;
Thomas and Winefrida moved to Minnesota abt 1857 and eventually bought land in Welch, Goodhue co where sons Thomas and James and Daughter Elenora married and lived farming. Noteworthy, was that before marriage to Winefrida, Thomas had a son Timothy who also emigrated and ended up in another Minnesota
Thomas and Winefrida's son Thomas had 14 children. community and is mentioned in Thomas's last will and testament. He married and farmed in Rice county MN.
Thomas had an older brother brother Timothy (1796-1848) who also emigrated to Lowell and stayed and is buried in St Patrick cemetery. Timothy married Bridget Hunt in Boyle on 13 Feb 1817.
