This is my grandfather Thomas Donovan, Born Dec 1900 Tullymurrihy, Cork to Richard Donovan and Mary Donovan (nee Collins) and lived in Greater Bandon and Clonakilty areas till he emigrated to the USA in April 1928.
He was one of 10 brothers and sisters who were alive as of 1911 census in Clonakilty: Michael, Catherine, Mary, Hannah, Dorah, Richard, Patrick, James and Dennis born from 1895 to 1910. I have hit so many dead ends on connecting with his other 9 siblings and their offspring. Hi brother Richard emigrated to the US with him, but became sick and returned back to Ireland when he was dying of cancer. His other brother Patrick may have followed them to Boston and then moved on to New York based on some strong but unverified info on line. The rest of the siblings I can find nothing about, hence the missing links to what might be many cousins.
My grandad's family seem seem closely linked to the Collins by marriage of course and the Driscolls and McCarthy names seemed constant neighbors. During both 1901 and 1911 census timeframes multiple Donovan families lived in close proximity to their residences. In 1901 Donovan families headed by Jerimiah, James, John and my great grandfather Richard lived in TullyMurrihy in houses 4, 6, 9 and 13.
Then recorded in 1911 Census they moved to Knockskagh, Clonakilty and resided at House #2, while Timothy Donovan's family was at #7, James Donovan family was at #8, no mention of John and Jeremiah was still living in Tullymurrihy at House 14. I imagine these Donovan males may have all been brothers, but i can't be sure.
If anyone has any links to these families from Tullymurrihy or Knockskagh and had asny information to share i would be eternally grateful.

We have had three trips to Ireland planned and all three were cancelled due to death in immediate family in US and of course this recent pandemic.
