From an immigration transcript created in Ottawa CANADA dated 1829.
"Thomas Lang, has 3 brothers, George, Abraham and Samuel, also a Brother in Law, Joseph Barclay, all having families, they reside in the neighbourhood of Dungannon, parish, Glenfakle, county Tyrone, they can be recommended by Mr.Evans of said place."
Thomas is my Great Great Grandfather. He departed Northern Ireland in 1829 with his wife Mary (Orr) and two daughters, Nancy (Agnus) and Jane. His first son James was "born at sea" according to a death registration I found for him here in Canada. His youngest son George is my Great Grandfather.
