My wife's 3x Great Grandfather was Thomas Malony b 1818-1820 Co Limerick. I haven't been able to find emigration documents or anything about his Ireland roots. His Headstone in Kentucky says he was b 1820 in Co Limerick and his wife Catherine from Co queens. Nothing currently known about his siblings or parents. Possibly this was his father.

Hmm, he could be the son of Tmy homas Maloney, who I think (big guess!) was born around 1785 or so. What else have you found about your Thomas?

Really all I know is of his life once he came to the states. He Raised a big family in a rural area of northern Kentucky near Cincinnati that had tons of Irish born folks.
