Seeking information about my great-great- grandgather, Thomas Paul Doherty (or O'Doherty) who emigrated to the United States in 1890. He's from Coolnasillagh, and we're interested in knowing whether any of his father's descendants are still in County Derry or thereabout.
My great-grandfather, Thomas' sole surviving son who lived with his aunt Susan Doherty in the early 20th century (1911 census), returned to Derry in the 1960s to consign the family farm to his cousins.
