My great-great Grandfather, Timothy Hannon states on his 1844 Naturalization papers that he is from Ballinadee. He married Julia Mahoney (Mahony?) in 1849. This Boston marriage record indicates that Timothy’s parents were Daniel and Mary. Julia’s parents are not identified on these or any other record. Death, census and marriage records all suggest that Timothy and Julia were born in 1822 or 1823.
I am eager to confirm that Timothy was born in Ballinadee and confirm the identity of his parents. I am searching for any and all information about Julia Mahoney (or Mahony) — on my first visit to Ballinadee in September 2019 I was delighted and encouraged to see numerous Mahony headstones in the Catholic cemetery. Any and all help and suggestions are sincerely appreciated.
