Wilford Hollarn was the grandson of Patrick Halloran aka Hollarn who emigrated from Ireland in 1858 from Rosmuc Parish, County Galway. 

Wilford served in a Railway Operating Battalion in WW II after his unit landed on 18 Aug 1844 until the end of 1945.
