Migrated to /Born in Canada

I am seeking any info that might help me locate where my ggg grandfather William Magee , b 1798, lived in Ireland before he headed for Canada. There appear to be a number of places in NI where Magee families lived  Larne, Ballintoy, Carrickfergus, Ballyclare, Ballymena, Kels, Glenarn and Belfast.   He first appears in Canada in Leeds County, Ontario census abt 1820.  In 1822 he married Elizabeth Read, d/o William Read and Agnes (Nancy) Russell  (d/o David Russell & Janet Lyle)..all from Larne area.  William & Elizabeth have 13 children.....10 in Leeds County and 3 more in Huron County after moving to Usborne Twp just west of London, Ontario Canada. William was Presbyterian when he arrived but had all his childre baptizedd in Leeds in the Anglican church on the same day.  (apparently the Presbyterian Minister wasnt liked much).   They farmed in Usborne TWP and their eldest 2 daughters married Kirk brothers......the Kirk family founded the town of Kirkton, ON.  They had 3 more children but William died in 1853 so Elizabeth Read had her hands full.  Their son James  (and I think that William father must have been a James or a William) b 1833 was my g grandfather. He married Sophia Jamiesn (d/o Patrick Jamieson & Jane Whitefird (d/o John Whiteford &  unk  Boyd)  all from Ballycastle and Cape Fair Head area..... (families from Houses of Campbells of Argyll & Hamilton)......3 generations in the area.....James & Sophia also had 13 children.....one of which Charles Edwin was my grandfather. His son Charles Henry (Harry)  b 1910 , d 25 June 1999. was my father.   Ballintoy is not far from Ballycastle.....so it's a serous possibility.   Dna results from the tests of my brother and I match.....Magee from Island Magee and one match to Ballintoy..................popular family names thre several generations have been Nelson, James, William, John, Earl, Elizabeth, Mary, Sarah..

There was aslo a James Magee who appeared in leeds County about the same time as William but born abt 1806. He and his family also move to Huron County shortly after William's death.

Any pointers appreciated.

Donna Magee
