I am not sure that this person is an ancestor but I thought I’d add the information in case it is important for someone else. A William Mara from Kilmeadan married Mary Walsh (Carrick on Suire, Tipperary) in St. John’s, Newfoundland at the Roman Catholic Basilica on October 22, 1804. If anyone can indicate who Williams parents are, when they came to NL and if Mara is actually Maher/Meagher/Magher.
