William Plunkett was born in 1801 and died in Canada in 1876. He emigrated to Canada in 1848 or 1850. We haven't any proof that he's from Newtownards, it's family lore. He was Presbyterian.
William's wife was Margaret "Mae" Kelly, born 1802 in Co. Down.
They had the following children:

Family lore also says they sailed on the Eliza Morrison but I haven't been able to find them on any passenger list.
