New Type William Stephen Sullivan Morgan, eldest son of George Morgan and Melian Sullivan, was the last Morgan to occupy Old Abbey. He m. Georgina, dau. of Major Henry Ross-Lewin, of Ross Hill, Co. Clare, and on his death in 1871 the lands passed to his dau. Frederica Louisa, who m. 1877 John Charles Wardell, son of Major William Henry Wardell of Jersey.
