Craigmore Presbyterian church was a secession church. It was a separate congregation, created in the 1800s following a split within the mainstream Presbyterian congregations. Many secession churches later rejoined the mainstream Presbyterian church, and Craigmore is one. Today the Minister at nearby Grange Presbyterian also is in charge of Craigmore.
