I have visited the archivist here on a number of occasions and was amazed with the information they have on former employees.My great grandfather was employed as a cooper in the brewery for a number of years from 1911 and the details they have on his employment there are unbelievable.The same man was one of the first casualties of the 1916 rising having been killed by a British Army sniper on Easter Monday. .
