The 1834 Survey of the Shirley Estate lists properties with names and reference numbers to a map. Would anyone know whether that map exists and if so where?
My Holland family lived in Latinalbany, on the Shirley Estate. At the time of Griffith's Valuation there were six Holland families there. They are easily located on the Griffith's map. I am trying to trace them all back. I believe most if not all of them were descendants of Redmond Holland who appears on a list of Latinalbany leases in 1795, Magheross Flax Growers in 1796, Latinalbany Tithe Applotment in 1823, Latinalbany Rent Book 1824, Shirley Estate Survey 1827. He died in 1829.
Through DNA we have proven relationships among Hollands who went from Latinalbany to Australia during the Assisted Emigration, Hollands who went from Latinalbany to Pennsylvania around the same time, Hollands who went from Latinalbany to Canada around 1850, and then on to upstate New York, and Montana, Hollands who went from Latinalbany to New York City in the early 1900s.
Any thoughts or clues would be appreciated

Bessie,
If you are referring to the estate in Co. Monaghan, why not contact the Monaghan historical or heritage society? and/or the Monaghan Co. Library?
Good luck!
