Hi Everyone,
Hoping someone can help me. My great great grandfather was from Limerick and he married and had children there. My grandparents used to visit a cottage at 4 Prospect Hill, Rosbrien Road into the 1960's I believe. I'm aware that it is no longer there but I guess I'm trying to find out more information, if anyone knows where to look?
Details of my great great grandparents are:
Patrick Dwyer + Bridget Shanahan
I've attached details of their children in case it helps. I've no details of when Patrick and Bridget were born or married so I'm unsure if they lived in the house.
Appreciate any help,
Thanks Christine
Christine

Hi Christine,
Subscription site www.rootsireland.ie has a record of the marriage of a Patrick Dwyer to Bridget Shanahan in St. Michael's R.C.Church, Limerick on September 14th 1859. No address recorded and no Witnesses.
A John Dwyer is recorded as having been baptised in St. Michael's on October 12th 1860 and a Joseph on April 21st 1863. State records do not begin until Janary 1st 1864.
I attach a Civil record for Patrick in March 1865. Address: Rear of Queen Street. No. 446 and Mary Kate in 1871 whose address is Nelson Street. - No. 290
You can access the Church Records at catholicparishregister@nli.ie - National Library.

I have no information on the occupants of 4, Prospect Hill. Possibly relatives?
Regards.
