I would like to connect with others who may be related to my gt gt gt grandparents, James Power and Bridget (Biddy) Power nee Chandler. From information recently supplied to me on this site I am aware that they probably had 2 children, James Power Baptised 14th March 1825 and Thomas Power Baptised 7th December 1827. James and Thomas were both Baptised in the Adamstown, County Wexford Catholic Parish. Diocese: Ferns. County: Carrickbyrne.
The residence of James and Bridget Power is given on the Baptismal record of Thomas Power (1827) as "Courtoil" which would be more correctly Courthoyle.
I am hoping to find information that may give me the names of James Power's parents and/or the parents of Bridget (Biddy) Power nee Chandler, and/or a marriage date and place.
Thank you,
Robyn

Robyn:
I searched on the subscription site FindMyPast.ie and did not locate the marriage record.
I also searched for possible leads for baptismal records for James Power and Bridget Chandler. James Power(s) is a very common name so I limited the search to Adamstown and there were no records for a James Power(s) around 1800-1808.
The only lead I found for Bridget Chandler was a record in Co. Wicklow Bridget Chandler baptized December 27 1806 Wicklow town RC parish father William Chandler mother Mary Monks

Thank you so much Roger for doing a search on my behalf. I appreciate you sending me the information about a Bridget Chandler that may or may not be a relative. However, it gives me a possible lead to check out. As you say, James Power is a very common name in Ireland which makes the search more difficult.
Best wishes,
