Hello, My name is John Cooper and I am helping out a friend and his family with their family tree. We have a copy of a rootsireland.ie record of the marriage where Laurence of Annacrivey and Catherine of Kilegar were married in the 15yo RC church of St Mary Immaculate RC Powerscourt. Laurence's parents are given as James Toole and Margaret Cilery while Catherines parents are Edward Toole and Julia Kavanagh. Witnesses are Laurence Toole and Margaret Toole.Their first child was born after Laurence (aged 28/9) had departed for the colony of Victoria Australia on the "Culzean" in 1874, and Catherine (aged 26) and Laurence Jnr (aged 4) departed in 1879 on board the Aconcagua with Catherine's first cousin Peter Kavanagh (aged 21). Any information on all four parents is sought, 3 Toole's and a Cilery. (others have had a Margaret Crawlins as Laurence's mother but it seems like a red herring-just saying in case a second marriage is found or ...) [also this query is not allaowing me to create paragraphs so apologies for the dense message] It would appear that both families were near the county border of Dublin and Wicklow. Some of the localities mentioned in are in current day 'greater Dublin'. Young Laurence's death certificate d1933 states he was born in Co Wicklow, not sure of which Parish St Mary's was in and whether it has 'changed'. If there is anyone who has a particlar interest in Dublin/Wicklow and can help that would be great. Kind regards, John

A transcription at rootsireland gives the 10-Apr-1849 baptism of Catherine Toole, child of Edward Toole, Julie Kavanagh, in parish of Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow. Sponsors: John Toole, Eliza Neil.A transcription at rootsireland notes the Toole-Kavanagh marriage took place 13 March 1835 in Enniskerry RC parish, Wicklow. Sponsors: James Cyder, Mary Sutton.
