Hello, looking for info on my 3x great grandmother possibly born around 1820, died 1898. Married Henry Seberry. Their daughter Eliza (myb2x great grandmother) married Charles Roycroft in Cloonclare parish church in 1866.
I am looking for information on Anne. Elizas mother. We have an old photo that someone wrote her name as "Anne Feathers Seberry" on but we don't know if the maiden name is right. I have posted in Sligo about my other two brick walls but since the Seberry family lived in Co. Leitrim, I thought I'd ask about Anne here.
So appreciate your time!

Hi Jenn,
There was an Anna Seberry (nee Feather) born in 1820 and died in Pittsburgh 20 Feb 1898. Husband was Henry Seberry. It looks like they had 13 children. Is that the right Anne? If so, I'll continue looking for her mother.

Teresa

Hi,
I've found a marriage cert for George Feather, born about 1821 and living in Granard, Co. Longford (which is the next county to Leitrim) in 1845. Would this possibly be Anne's brother? Attached is the civil certificate for their marriage.
Regards,
Teresa

Teresa! That is the right Anne as far as I can say! She married a Henry Seberry and they resided in Manorhamilton, County Leitrim where the marriage of their daughter, "Eliza"beth took place to Charles Roycroft in 1866. Charles and Eliza then moved to Scotland the same year they wed, and all their children were born there. In 1887 the family came to America and lived in Pennsylvania. I do not know at which point Anne came over, but I do know that she did come and died here. I would love to confirm Feather as her maiden name and learn more about her family, and also to find when she came to America.
THANK YOU THANK YOU for finding this info! I will see what I can find by following up. Appreciate it so very much! I will try to attach her picture.

Hi Jenn, delighted that it's the right Anne! Here is a link to the information about Anne Feather, I found it on ancestry.co.uk. It was in a member's family tree - gillian_wood4, so you will be able to contact her to connect (long lost cousin?). Hope this link works for you. All the best with your research! Teresa

Please let me know if you can find anything on her parents! And how funny, I have already connected with that user's mom through a Facebook genealogy group!
