Hi, I'm looking for information on my great grandmother. Her name was Annie Hannah Regan (maiden name). Her marriage certificate in the United States has her being born in 1869, (approximate date), and her parents were Jeremiah Regan & Margaret Bryan. On the birth record of Annie's second child, it has her being from County Cork. She came to the US in 1892, another approximate date. This is the only information that we have for her. Any information is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I searched for a record for Annie on Roots Ireland and www.irishgenealogy.ie with no success. However, I did find baptismal records for four Regan children where the parents were Jerry Regan and Margaret Brien. The children were Mary March 12, 1862 Margaret January 10, 1864 Julia October 29 1869 Tade January 5 1872 The RC parish was Castlehaven and Myross. I provided the Julia record below since she was baptized in 1869. Do you have any information on siblings for your Annie so we can see if this is the correct families. Regan and Brien are very common surnames.

Thank you for your help. We do not know if she had any siblings. The only other info we have is that my mother, who is deceased, used to refer to her as Hannah. Thank you!

The church records are on www.irishgenealogy.ie which is a free site That site also has the images of birth, marriage and death records for certain years. Births are 1864-1916. Below is a link to the birth record for the 1869 Julia. They lived in Aghills townland in Castlehaven civil parish.
