Anthony Carr was born about 1806 in 'Ireland,' and his wife Ellen (Kelley) was born about the same time. In their Birmingham CofE marriage certificate 1843 they are both listed as wdowed. As their child had earlier been christened at St Chads Catholic Church in Birmingham I am guessing they married in Ireland before emigating, but that they also both were previously married to other partners in Ireland.
I do know that Anthonys father was James, a Butler by profession, and Ellens father was John, a Labourer.
