Hello fellow researchers,
I am researching my son Peter's paternal tree. His great grandfather was Anthony O'Connell 20/4/1867.m Johanna Quinlan (1875-1944)
Anthony died in Cappawhite, Tipperary on 7th november 1933. but was formerly of Birchgrove, Hollyfort Co Tipperary.
I live in Dublin and plan to visit Cappawhite in the spring as we have some family uncertainties. My son lives in Perth Australia.
I am looking for help in locating Anthony's grave . Tipperary is not on Irish Graveyards yet.
Many Thanks,
Grainne

Hi Grainne, when The Local Studies section of the Library in Thurles opens again, it could be possible to find Obituary on either The Nationalist or The
Tipperary Star, Also you may find death notice in The Irish Independant or The Irish Press in The National Library.
I presume you found them on The 1901 and 11 Census, www.census.nationalarchives.ie. Leugh and Birchgrove both on DED Glengar.
It is possible they may have been buried in the new St Michaels Cemetary Tipperary Town opened in 1914.
Best of luck, Let me know how you get on.
