I am interested in the marriage of Martin McDonough & Catherine Ward, 10 Jan 1884, in Glenamaddy registration district, Co Galway. The certificate is available at https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_re…
The certificate states that the marriage was solemnized at Ardavern House (or it could be Ardavess or Ardaverin). I've looked through all the marriages for 1883 and 1884 in Glenamaddy, and I can't find any other marriages there.
Can anyone tell me the correct name of this chapel, and where it is, please.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mary,
Possible name for this location is "ARDEEVIN" in the parish of Boyounagh, Glenamaddy. The couple were possibly living by the roadside and
the priest availed of a nearby house to perform the ceremony. He probable used the home of the local landlord?
The local Boyounagh Historical Society may be able to give you an accurate report on the townland.
