I have recently found the said birthplace of a distant relative, but she hasn't put which county it is.
Esther Barry (parents were John Barry / Mary Ash)
has written she was born in July 1845 in Belford, Ireland.
I can't find any town of any size with that name.
What I've also heard though is that we have / had relatives in Cork & Ulster..
Could Ballyfeard in Cork be the same as Belford?
or are there other possibilities?
