Bernard Colligan b. abt 1806 Ireland d. 6 Mar 1886 Plattsburg, Clinton Co., New York, USA.  death record states; from Kings County, Ireland.  married Ann Furrell (b. abt 1807 Ireland, d. between 1870 & 1880 New York State.) abt . 1835  unknown.   Children all born in Clinton Co., New York. Edward b. 1836, Frank . 1837, James 1840, Eliza 1842, Margaret 1843, Owen 1844, Bridget 1847, Rose 1849 & Bernard 1851.

Bernard Colligan d, 1886 is buried in Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery in Monroe Co. New York with Patrick Colligan d. Aug. 30, 1879 age 36 Yrs.

Looking for parents of Bernard & Ann.

    You might like to have a look on rootsireland.ie

    I searched births / baptisms on rootsireland for Bernard Colligan born 1806 + - 2 years in all counties and got Bernard Colgan baptised 1806 in Meath.

    I tried Ann Furrell born 1807 + - 1 and got 11 so tried Meath only and got 2 Anne Ferrall 1806 and Anne Ferally 1808.

    There were a lot of inaccurate spellings and transcriptions in those days so these could be your people.

    Also, Meath and Offaly (King's County) adjoin.

    I'm sorry I'm unable to attach the files from rootsireland.
