Looking for a connection between Mulligan families and Blessington families in County Longford.  Mulligan family, we feel thanks to DNA, have roots in Columbkille, Longford.  I find one Blessington family there in 1854.  Our timeline of interest would be late 1700s as we are still looking for parents of Ann, Patrick and Nicholas Mulligan.

    I assume your Mulligans were RC. The Colmcille RC parish records start in 1833. The only two RC parishes that have records that go back to the late 1700s are Granard (1778) and Ardagh (1793). There are many Mulligans but I don't see any Nicholas records in the late 1700s.
