Hi,
my ggrandfather Thomas Bodkin was born about 1800, and I think his parents were Patrick Bodkin and a Catherine (or N) Daniel. Thomas became a doctor in the mid 1820s and settled in Tuam some years later.
Any advice re researching Bodkins or Daniels of Dunmore would be very welcome.
