I also did a search for Michael Brennan in Griffith?s Valuation. this is a property valuation survey carried out 1848-64. It doesn?t give any genealogical information but can sometimes be used as a census substitute as there are no complete set of census records from before 1901. I found a Michael Brennan in St. John?s civil parish. This is one of the civil parishes that is found in the RC parish of Athy ( http://www.irishtimes.com/ancestor/fuses/rcparishmaps/index.cfm?fuseaction=rctocivil&churchid=459&church=Athy ) I wonder if this is Terence?s father?

Again My thanks for your time and replies
I have used all or most of the links you have put forward but will recheck and re use.I have a good amount of information on the Brennan clan in Athy just trying to join up the dots, and wonder what county they came from originally I go back to Athy early 1700s can go further but cannot prove byhond that.,
