Have you checked the resources that are online through the Clare Library?  If not, they are worth checking.

The civil parish is Kilfarboy.  You will see other sources to look at under the above link.  

If Briidget Devitt and John Howard were married at Inagh, it was likely that Inagh was Bridget's home parish.  That is a very good clue for looking for her ancestors.  The link to Inagh parish is here:  http://www.clarelibrary.ie/eolas/coclare/places/inagh.htm

If you need any further assistance, please let me know.  You may be able to trace the parents to the 1901 Census if they remained in Ireland.  The Clare Library has the transcriptions for the 1901 Census.  You will see them on the above links.

Yes, I have looked at these sites and have had some successes, although the further back I go the more it becomes "possibilities".

I haven't had any luck with the census yet due to deaths and emmigration.

I will continue to explore the records and maybe it will all come together.
