Good afternoon,
I would appreciate a little help with a 20-year-old brick wall. The subject of my research is Bryan LAWRENCE born in Ireland, believed to be County Tipperary, circa 1817. Bryan came to America along with his mother, Mrs. Frances (Fanny) LAWRENCE, and two brothers Thomas E. and Timothy. They left from Liverpool and arrived in New York City on 9 Sept 1836 aboard the Ship Suviah. Occupation: Butcher. He married Mary CORBETT born abt. 1818 in Ireland. Their children: Anna, Catharine Celia, William and Joseph Bryan.
Thomas Edward LAWRENCE born abt. 1820 in Ireland, Married Henrietta A. (possibly RUNCIMAN) born in South Carolina, USA. No known issue.
Timothy LAWRENCE was born in Ireland about 1822 and married to Sarah KEELAND (KEELAN), also from Ireland. Their children: Mary, Robert, Edward E., Sarah J., Joseph, Bryan (Bernard), and Frances.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Bryan Lawrence STARR

Bryan,
What was the name of the father of Bryan Lawrence.
In the Tithe Records for 1823- 1837 there are very few with the surname "Lawrence" in County Tipperary.
I suggest that you contact the Archivist at tipperarystudies.ie - Thurles County Tipperary.
There is a Bryan Lawrence recorded in New York in the 1870's who is involved with the Fenian Organistation.
