Hi Jane, and welcome Eimear, 

I am afraid I was unable to much more about the Burn Family from the 1860's in my historical searches. I attached the marriage register for James Burns & Ann Perry m.30May1885. This is possibly the same certificate that you already have, however just incase. James and Annie are both recorded as being servants living in Ringsend at the time they were married, which is a location in Castlefinn that can be viewed HERE and HERE 

James father Francis Burns is recorded as a Stone Cutter and Anns father John Perry is a farmer by trade.

I have also looked extensively for a possible death record for James Burns and I cant seem to find any suitable in the Irish Records, however no luck. I have come across this James Burns from Scotland (Burial and Birth), but I am not sure to be honest. I was wondering would you have come across it before also and perhaps eliminated it afterwards.
