Good day, I live in Cape Town South Africa. Kadey (O) Callaghan circa 1790 and Johanna Rodgers circa 1795 were my 5x Great grandparents. Born and Baptised , married in CORK ,...looking for records or any other Ancestors prior to them ... please.Their son Morgan Callaghan (1816) was also born in Cork and left with them at age 4 for South Africa, he was my 4x great grandfather.Brother Daniel 2yo was also born in Cork. looking for records please. The arrived on the ship THE FANNY, left Cork? 12/2/1820. Arrived Simon s Bay Cape Town 1/5/1820.
His son Schalk Willem Gerhardus Callaghan (1838) was my 3x great grandfather born is South Africa & The rest of the ancestors are all South African born.Thanks in advance.Ronel

I searched on two different sites and was unable to locate the marriage record for Kadey and Johanna or the baptismal record forMorgan. Likely these events occurred in an RC parish that does not have records back to 1816 or earlier. There are over 20 RC parishes in Co. Cork which have later records.
