Looking for information for the family Callaghan from (Lisleagh), Ballyclough, Cork. William Callaghan (my 3x grandfather--1805-1875), his wife Margaret Buckley (1818-?), and daughter Ellen Callaghan (1838-?). Their son Michael Callaghan (1840-1926) was my 2x grandfather-who emigrated to the US in 1858 at the age of 18--landing in Mobile, Alabama--fought in the American Civil War (1861-1865) -- moved/lived/died in East Liverpool, Ohio--Married Mary Desmond in 1865, also from Ireland. They're all from St. Finbarrs South. I found the Callaghan homestead in Ballyclogh, which is still standing! I used Griffiths Valuation. I cannot, however, find where William and Mary are buried! Or any other information about their lives there in Lisleagh, Ballyclough or anything about Williams' parents; Patrick Callagahan and Mary Collins.
