Looking for information on my ancestor Mary Eloise Campbell b. about 1843 in Williamstown, Country Westmeath. I believe her parents were John Campbell and Mary Brennan. She and her brother James Capbell b. 1847 in Ireland both emigrated to the state of CT in the US. She was in Connecticut by 1868 because she married James J. Condren then. I don't know if parents John Campbell and Mary Brennan Campbell emigrated or not but I haven't found evidence that they did.
Thank you,
Marnie Knox Anderson

Marnie:
Hello again! I just responded to your James Condren message.
There are seven different Williamstown townlands in Co. Westmeath. When I searched on Roots Ireland for a baptismal record for Mary Campbell in Westmeath with parents John Campbell and Mary Brennan, I got no record. I then searched for any baptismal records in Westmeath with father John Campbell and mother with surname Brennan and located three records: Michael 1839 James 1843 Timothy 1846 in the RC parish of Ballyloughloe. There is one catch, the mother was Bridget Brennan. See transcription below of the Michael record.
Ballyloughloe was one of the parishes which had a Williamstown townland.
I'm somewhat perplexed since almost all of the RC parishes in Co. Westmeath have records prior to 1843.
Are you aware of any siblings for Mary Eloise?

Hello again Roger! You are a busy volunteer!
Mary Eloise had a brother James born in Ireland, according to his obituary in 1846. I'm attaching the obituary below. Her obituary (also attach) says she was preceded in death by another brother, John.
I guess I need to locate death certificates for Mary and James.
