Hello. I’m searching for information about my grandfather, Laurence Carolan. I have documentation that he was born on June 20, 1880 and baptized on June 21,1880. The parish listed is Dromcondrath, Drumcondra, Loughbracken. His father was James Carolan and mother was Catherine Byrnes. Birthplace was listed as Cloughrea. He had a sister, Agnes. She may have been born in June 1881 in Kells or March of 1882 somewhere else. I’m sure there were more siblings. Laurence and Agnes lived in Kingscourt prior to coming to the US in the early 1900s. Any assistance locating information about James, Laurence or Agnes Carolan would be very much appreciated.
Thank you, Grace Carolan Boyle

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
Agnes was born January 3, 1882 for Agnes https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_retur…
Here is the 1901 census record for James and Catherine Carolan. Note there is a problem with the indexing of the census return for the family (and other families) in that area of Co. Meath

I located Agnes as a servant in the 1901 census in Kingscourt Co. Cavan but did not see Laurence.
Here are James and Catherine in 1911. According to the form Catherine had ten children and all were living in 1911

Found a death record for James. He drowned in 1920 https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/deaths_retu…
I did not find a good death record for Catherine on the free site www.irishgenealogy.ie
