Hello, I am looking for cemetery information on my great-great-grandfather Daniel Gibbons and great-great-grandmother Bridget Ward.
Daniel and Bridget’s 6 children were baptized in Kilcolgan Parish from 1860 - 1871. According to the 1911 census, Daniel was age 88 and Bridget was 78. Their son Michael (age 40) was living with them and they were farmers in Killeenaran. I do not know when they passed, only that it was after the 1911 census.
Do you know what Catholic cemetery Daniel and Bridget would have been buried in since they lived in Killeenaran? Are there multiple Catholic cemeteries that encompass Killeenaran?
Any information you can provide is appreciated. Thank you for your help.

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
I searched the free site www.irishgenealogy.ie and located death records for Daniel, Bridget and Norah their daughter in law but did not see a record for their son Michael.
Killeenaran townland is in Drumacoo civil parish just to the west of Kilcolgan parish. I'm not local so I can't help with the cemetery. You may want to contact the parish office by e-mail and see if they can identify the likely cemetery. http://ballinderreenandkinvaraparishes.ie/home-page/archive/current/

Hello Roger,
Thank you so much for the death information of my gggrandfather and gggrandmother! Also, I was not aware of a daughter-in-law Norah. When I found their son Michael in the census with his parents, he was listed as single. Maybe he married later in life? Or there is another son I am not aware of that Norah was married to. Another mystery :-)
I will contact the Parish office in hopes they can provide the cemetery.
Thank you again, I am very apprecaitive!
All the best-
