Just outside of Lismore is Kilnacarriga Townland. That is where my Crolwey ancestors lived befoe they emmigrated to SW Wisconsin in 1850 and 1852.
I have been to Lismore a number of times. I know of the cemtery's there.
Does anyone know if there was a cemetery in the Kilnacarriga area?

Hello John, looks like we have the same great great a couple more greats grandpa. My Crowley family grew up near Viroqu (not spelled right) Wisconsin. I was doing a Google search and got lucky and found this. Hope we can chat and thanks for posting the picture of Patrick SR.

My mother was a Crowley.
Mary (nee Keefe) marieed Patrick Crowley Sr.
They lived in Kilnacarriga just south of Lismore.
Their records are at St. Carthage Catholic Church in Lismore.
Children : Patrick Jr., Edward, John Francis, Alice, Johanna. all born in Ireland.
The family came to America 1850's and settled in Crawford County in SW Wisconsin.
They aquired property and the area where they lived is known as Crolwey Ridge near Seneca, Stueben and Eastman, WI.
Mary is buried at Kneeland Cemetery, the others at St. Patrick Church Cemetery in Seneca.
