Can anyone tell me what "certificate of freedom" on the bottom of a marriage record means? I noticed they do not list the woman's name either.

It is a certificate from the priest of the applicants parish (Roman Catholic) to enable him to marry in another parish.
It is intended to show that he is not already married in a Catholic Ceremony.
Other religions use Banns.
