hello im looking for Charles Timlin born abt 1850's in Ardnaree Co Mayo, reason i say this date is due to birth of their 1st child birth cert and Catherine/Catharina/Kate Mckenna birth cert she was born in 1850's in Ballina i believe due to reason ive given for Charles Timlin believe they could of married in Ballina as there children were all born in Ballina the 1st child was born in 1873 on the 1st child borth cert her name is simply written as Kate i therefore believe they got married around mid 1860's to early 1860's, ive checked irish genealogy but found nothing there of the marriage please could someone help me

  • yes these could be the right people just the Catherine one could be wrong birth wise but at 15 still able to give birth so is a possiblity. Ive been checking on likes of nli catholic parish records and so far hadnt found birth records for neither of them for the 1850's n with regards Catherine obviously the surname could be shortened/ spelt differently and thats what makes it harder the marriage cert has different father for Charles Timlin n also different mother but as yet dont know the parents name of either of them. I didnt see the marriage cert on irish genealogy as it isnt there, i did find a Charles Timlin death cert on irish genealogy but he died in Dublin but occupation is the same at death, it also showed he was a widow so therefore Catherine died before him so i checked that out n she died in Dublin as well they also give age at death so i worked out the yr of birth from that and it would make them both born in 1854 obviously the death age could be a yr either side of what is actually said but in that case it would make them either born in 1853 or 1855 so looks like im still looking.
