I am looking for a Christopher Roche who died in Ireland between 1930 and 1945 grandfather was by his own statement John Patrick Roche, (some of his detail has to be right for him to have been found by the family of the deceased Christopher circa 1941. Grandad left Ireland 1894 and joined the British army the Royal Scots on 21st of November 1894 stating his age as 18 years and 1 month his place of birth Ireland. When he married in 1912 he put his father down as Michael Joseph Roche deceased currently I am unable to confirm any of the above other than - there was a connection between him, John Patrick Roche and Christopher Roche this by a lost letter from Ireland handed to him by a policeman on the doorstep of his house in England.

  • Chris:

Go to www.irishgenealogy.ie   Go to the Civil Records Tab. Search for Christopher Roche deaths from 1930-1945. There were only 13 and 6 were age 6 or younger. From your message, I can't tell how old Christopher was when he died.
