Hello,
I am looking for information for my great great grandparents Jeremiah Collins and Honora Malone who left Cork for the South Wales valleys around 1852.
They married in the Roman Catholic Church, Dowlais on 9 August 1853. Jeremiah's father was also Jeremiah and Honora's father Patrick. They went on to have Ellen, Catherine, Honora and Jeremiah. If they followed the naming pattern which they seemed to have done with Honora and Jeremiah then Jeremiah's mother would have been Catherine and Honora's Ellen.

Rhian:
I found one possible lead on the free site www.irishgenealogy.ie A Jerh Collins was baptized in December 1821 in the Kilbrittain RC church. His father was Jerh Collins and the mother Catherine Nagle.
Collins is very much a Co. Cork surname but Malone is found in many counties and Co. Cork is not the highest county by far. Clare, Kilkenny and Laois have the most Malones in the mid-19th century.
I was not able to locate any Honora Malone baptismal records with father Patrick in Co. Cork.
Is it possible that Jeremiah and Honora met in Australia and married there?
