Trying to locate any information on the Colvin family from Drung. I believe Hugh Colvin was born c 1803 to James & Catherine (nee McGoughan) of Drung. Having great difficulties trying to locate any records. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Thank you so much for the reply. Hugh went into the British Army serving in the west & east indies. I believe the family were RC. He did return to Co Cavan where he died. It seems almost impossible to get birth, marriage & death certs from Ireland. All rather frustrating. Thank you once again, Janene
