Cooney, Matthew, Nicholas & John James from Stoneybatter Dublin

Hi Harry, No replies so far but you't think that 5 males and 2 females in the family that there would be one family line that went some where. My friend has been searching all sorts of things,we know Margaret  ( Maigead ) marriedJohn Weiand on the 26th November 1913 in North Dublin, He was born in Germany  and  Margaret aged 40 went through the Canada border alone  with her children Arthur and Mae Weiand. You'd think with such a strange name that would be easy to find but other than finding Margaret died in 1958, I have not found any further information. I think Mary Cooney must have stayed in Ireland. Nicholas was not on the USA Census for 1930, but his family was, he was in Ireland looking after his mother Catherine who passed away in 1931 and his brother passed away in 1933. I'll just have to keep searching, it can be a bit disappointing when you have spent the whole weekend and all you can find is one thing,yet I;ve scanned so many pages that my eyes give up in the end
