I am looking for John Cosgrove born about 1810 could have been later as his age changes on different census's not sure where he was born, married Honora Keanan, again not sure if they married in Ireland or if they met and married in England, came to England, their first child Thomas was born in Wolverhampton. On the 1851 census showing them living in Wolverhampton, their son Thomas is 1 year old. I have found Thomas baptism was in Wolverhampton. John and Honora were my GGGrandparents. Honora states she is from Galway on one of the census. I would love to know their story before they arrived in England

I searched on the subscription site Roots Ireland for John Cosgrove baptismal records and there are a number of John Cosgrave/Cosgrove around 1810 but I'm sure there are many more that are no longer available. Since you don't know his parents names, there is no way to verify and of the records available
Honora Keanan/Keenan baptismal records are not available back in the early part of the 19th century. The earliest available was 1891. Many of the Co. Galway RC parishes do not have records back to the early 19th century.
I also did not find a John Cosgrove/Honora Keanan marriage record.
I would suggest DNA testing. Possibly you will have matches with individuals who have more information on the origins of your Cosgrave/Keanan families in Ireland.

Thank you for your response. I have done a DNA test and have the results but no matches to any of my Galway side.
