Looking to narrow down County or Parish information for my paternal Great Grandfather, a Cullinane, who I believe would've emigrated to Australia in the late 19th Century (his children, being my Grandfather and Great Uncles (now all decd.) were born in Australia from 1895 onward).

Looking at the Griffiths Valuation data (1848-1864), the name Cullinane is primarily found in the counties in Munster province: Cork, Clare, Tipperary, Waterford, Kerry and Limerick. Cork has the most entries. There were also a few Cullinanes in Galway and Roscommon. If you can give our volunteers the name of your GGF who left Ireland and also his parents, possibly someone can give you more specific data on county, civil parish and townland. Thanks.

NSW BDM has 8 Cullinanes in the Assisted Immigrants 1839-96 - 4 male & 4 female
Males:
John age 25 arrived 1880 ship Camperdown
Patrick 35 1858 Northern Light
Patrick 21 1878 Erato
William 19 1879 Corona
Do any of these ring a bell?
