Hello & Many thanks for any help anyone can provide! Seeking help w/Michael Edward Cranney (he became a S. here in America) & Bridget/Bridgid Dunney! They are purported to Co from Co. Kilkenny. They are my Gg'parents, they came to New England before 1889 when their son Michael, Jr. was born here in Massachusetts. Someone was kind enough to give me a marriage date, but I've since forgotten it. When & where in Co. Kilkenny were they married? Witnesses, kin? Their own families, parents, dates, Locs., siblings? Fathers first names James Crannys and John Dunny, both alive at the time of the marriage. Michael Crannys Greens Hill Kilkenny and Bridget Dunny Kennys Well Kilkenny. The occupations of both fathers are listed as 'carrier'. Michaels occupation is listed as a labourer and Bridgets as a servant. Sorry but I am having trouble posting, will try later.
