Hi Does anyone have any af the following names in their Cullen Family Histories. I regret I am unsure when or where they lived, but suspect they lived in Co Wexford. First, a Mary X married a Peter Connors. Their daughter Mary married a John Cullen. These parents Mary and Peter Cullen had two daughters: Mary Cullen and Joanna Cullen This Joanna Cullen married a Patrick Cashe, and they had a son called John Casje, born 1925, and John married a Margaret Brick? Brien? around 1968 Any assistance with learning more about these families and origins would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Stephen Schollum, Cambridge, New Zealand.

There’s a marriage in Blackwater, Wexford, on 10.9.1924 between Patrick Cash(e) of Ballina and Johanna Cullen. Johanna’s father is named as James Cullen (not John), farmer. Her townland (address) was Garryvadden.
This looks to be Johanna and her father in Garryvadden Lower 1911:

and in 1911:

James Cullen & Mary Connors married 12.9.1885:

Hi Elwyn, Many thanks for this very usefule information. It certainly looks like the correct families I am still awaiting an answer from a distant relative who I have ben told has done some research, but I suspect not relating to this level of depth. . I apologise for the late response and acknowledgement; all I can think is that when I opened the alert, I saw that iit first mentioned another family I am following, but only out of interest, and thus totally ignored the other linkages. I almost missed this posting. Thank you again, as this information is priceless, especially in the current lockdown environment. If any readers can provide additional information, I would appreciate a posting.. Regards, Stephen Schollum. PS I have been following the 'Carroll' tread, and while I have no relationship whatsoever, I am amazed at the reseach undertaken and results found by the volunteers and contributors. The sites they mention have enabled me to gain a much better understanding tf the Ireland Records and systems.
