Hello
My 2nd great grandfather never made it to America as he died and was buried in Co Cork. I need to find him because want to know exactly what town he and wife were settled and were his children my great grandfather William was from? Can’t find them on Ancestry.com Uk or the American Ancetry.
Daniel O’Leary may have been born abt 1826 _1830 and since his wife Jane Duggan O'Leary were married at Ss Peters&Pauls church in Co City September 12 1846 . Daniels death may between 1860 through 1879. Jane came to America in 1881 as a widow.
My great grandfather was born 1858 Death in Brooklyn Ny in 1940. He and his wife Marianne Evans were married in America after arrival in 1881
I haven't anythin on Daniels birth or death is based on the wedding and Janes arrival in NYC USA in 1880
With great appreciation

You may want to look at www.familysearch.org I searched that site for death index records for a Daniel O'Leary up to 1880. I found two index records below which are possible leads. You would have to write to the GRO to get copies of these records www.groireland.ie Fill out their form and provide the quarter/year of death, registration district (Cork) and the volume and page number. Each record costs around 4 euros. You may want to give the GRO both records and ask for the death record where the spouse is Jane.

I guess you can ask the GRO to check the three records and only send you a record if the spouse's name is Jane. Worth a try.
