Dennis Tierney was my 2nd great-grandfather. He was born in Monaghan, Ireland about 1829. He married Carolyn Howells in 1863 in Austin, Nevada. He died February 13 1887 in Reese River Valley, Nevada. I have possible DNA matches in Washington County, New York. I don't have any information on any siblings, or his parents. Would love to learn more about his Irish family! I checked on Roots Ireland and almost every RC parish in Co. Monaghan on their data base has records starting 1840 or later. So when I did a search for Dennis no record came up.

Not sure which DNA testing company you used but you could look into Gedmatch www.gedmatch.com Gedmatch is a volunteer run site where you can load your raw DNA data and see if you match someone who tested with another company and also loaded their data to Gedmatch. It expands your matching pool.
