WORSE THAN I THOUGHT !! Desperately in search of my Mangan family. Allegedly from Cork- Thomas b. 1830....believe that he also had brothers James, John...other sibs....eventually, they came to america married a Mary King Mangan who passed awayin 1869; he then married a Mary Duffy......Thomas' son James Henry Mangan was my g. Grandfather, born in Iowa in 1869 (30 Mar) so Thomas' first wife evidently died of complications due to childbirth or perhaps it was Mary duffy was wife one and King the second but he was married twice. Please help me untangle this knot

Hi Debbie,
I searched births/baptisms on rootsireland.ie for Thomas mangan born 1830 in Cork and got a Thomas Mangen. Given the literacy levels and spelling / transcription inaccuracies this is probably your man.
rootsireland is a pay site so you would need to purchase the record in order to get the parents' names. Once you have those you can search for the siblings.
Had a look on ancestry but couldn't find any help with the knot sorry.
