I believe this family lived in the area of Clooncain, Mohil, Leitrim & Longford.

Johannis (John) b 1780-1855 in Clooncain; his wife Margaret Reynolds b 1782 Mohill-c1865, no date of marriage.

They had 7 children:  James 1818 - 1907; John Jr. 1820-1903; Patrick 1828-1906 (all sons remained in Ireland)

4 daughters all emigrated to USA & Canada- Honora 1815-1845; Bridget 1828-1893; Anna 1832-1886; Frances (Franny) 1830-1905 (my 3xgrandmother)

Would really appreciate any info related to this family; particularly with Frances

I believe the townland for the Diffley family was Clooncarreen in the civil parish of Mohill. The townland is fairly large 835 acres.

The only baptismal record I could locate on the subscription site Roots Ireland was for Bridget in Bornacoola RC parish which is south of Mohill. Perhaps Frances and Anne were baptized at Mohill and surviving records for that parish start in 1836.

Looks like your have done extensive research on your family. I'm sure you know that John and Patrick are listed in the 1901 census for Clooncarreen.
